DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nThe holidays can feel stressful and overwhelming, but when we’re coping with trauma, PTSD, and other challenging emotions, they can feel crippling. Join Dr. Becky Wellman, board-certified and licensed music therapist, to learn some ways you can utilize music to help find some harmony through the holiday season.\nDr. Wellman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music History and Theory as well as Oboe Performance. She has a Master of Music in Music Therapy from Ohio University and a PhD in Developmental Psychology from Capella University. Dr. Wellman runs Wellman Therapy Services, which has offered music therapy and wellness programs in Las Vegas since 2005.\nIn addition to this event, Dr. Wellman also offers no-cost, online music therapy sessions for those who’ve been approved for integrative services through the Vegas Strong Resiliency Center.
