DESCRIPTION:This workshop will educate you on steps to take now to avoid an unnecessary court-appointed adult guardianship for yourself or a loved one. You will hear from attorneys with the Guardianship Advocacy Program at Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada and the Southern Nevada Senior Law Program.\nFollowing the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to sit down with an attorney for a consultation and discuss document preparation.\nAttorneys with Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada (which manages the Resiliency Center) are on site with us every day to serve as a resource for legal concerns—including debt collection, housing and evictions, insurance matters, medical billing problems, and more.
