SUMMARY:1 October Memorial Listening Session with SWA
DESCRIPTION:One of the design teams for the Route 91 memorial, the SWA team, is inviting family, friends, and survivors to talk about the memorial and their experiences at the Vegas Strong Resiliency Center in a small group, in English or Spanish. They will bring image boards to help facilitate dialogue and gauge interest in certain art and design ideas. They are also collecting ideas and stories at their website, swa.mysocialpinpoint.com/vegasmemorialswateam.\nThe Vegas Strong Resiliency Center, as a central resource and referral hub, has agreed to serve as an intermediary between design teams and the community if requested. The Resiliency Center will share events on our website calendar and otherwise assist in facilitating other forms of engagement, such as hosting listening sessions, if requested by the five design teams. This information sharing and hosting is solely for the benefit of the community and stakeholders and does not represent any special consideration or preference for the five design team finalists. The Resiliency Center has not and will not engage in any evaluation of the five design teams and will only work to allow the greatest number of interested community members and stakeholders to reach the design teams during this stage of the process.\nIndividuals can connect with the other design teams selected by the 1 October Memorial Committee through ClarkCountyNV.gov/1OctoberMemorial.\n
