DESCRIPTION:\n\nSouthern Nevada emergency responders (including police officers, dispatchers, emergency medical technicians, firefighters, coroners/medical examiners, and the Southern Nevada Health District) are invited to this special peer group session with EMDR therapy horses. Terri Keener, LCSW, is offering this near Western Trails Park, in addition to the regular weekly sessions she hosts at the Vegas Strong Resiliency Center. She is the former Behavioral Health Coordinator for the Resiliency Center, serving those affected by the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting. This provided the opportunity to become even more familiar with the many roles of public safety professionals, their culture, and the intense demands of their roles. Terri has now transitioned into full-time private practice, where she works primarily with first responders.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
