SUMMARY:Suicide Awareness and Prevention Walk
DESCRIPTION:The LVMPD Wellness Bureau along with Behind the Blue will be hosting its third annual Suicide Awareness and Prevention Walk at Lone Mountain. The walk will start promptly at 8:30 a.m. with one lap around Lone Mountain in solidarity for those who have lost their lives to suicide and the lives affected. A picnic will follow the walk and all attendees will receive a suicide awareness ribbon.\nAll employees, retirees, and their families are welcome. This year, organizers have partnered with some friends in the community to provide food, beverages, and number of resources from the mental health community.\n
