Family Member Recovery Group
Did you experience a loss of a family member, friend, or loved one during the Route 91 Harvest Festival tragedy of October 1, 2017? Are you experiencing feelings of grief from the loss and would like some support in managing them? Join SoCal Route 91 Heals in April for a series of discussions on traumatic loss and how to process it with others that have experienced this as well. This series is for the family members and loved ones of those affected by the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting. Each week, they’ll explore issues, recovery techniques, and support systems to encourage your growth and resilience. You are encouraged to attend each week during the series.
Michelle Brown, LMFT, will lead the session and will engage everyone with discussion around how everyone is managing their loss as well as some concrete rituals and habits to process grief. Michelle is a Staff Counselor with the Elizabeth Hospice in San Diego and southern Riverside County. Please bring your questions and observations.
Zoom link will be shared in advance of the meeting. There is a one-hour session introduction to this series planned on Thursday, March 25, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
This group is for residents of California only. Spaces are limited.
