Route 91 Memorial Meet & Greet (In-Person)

The Route 91 community is invited to a meet-and-greet reception in Las Vegas with the Board of Directors of the Vegas Strong Fund (VSF). For close to seven years, the VSF has been devoted to those affected by the tragic events of 1 October by raising funds to support the Las Vegas Victim’s Fund, establishing a scholarship program for the children of those impacted, and making grants to support gatherings for survivors and victims’ families to connect and remember.

The VSF is now honored to embark on the next chapter of this collective healing journey with the creation of a permanent memorial. The fundraising and construction phase of the memorial process comes after three years of work by the 1 October Memorial Committee, appointed by the Clark County Commission, whose efforts included seeking input from families of victims, survivors, emergency responders, and all those impacted about what they would like to see in a permanent memorial. The VSF Board’s aspiration is to create a campaign that continues to facilitate our collective healing journey and that reflects the courage, resilience, and heart of our community and beyond.
