Compassion Fatigue Monthly Debrief Sessions for Providers
In order to support our providers and to contribute to the quality of services and support you are able to provide to the Route 91 family and community, we will be offering guided and facilitated discussions to process the impact of working with trauma. Sessions will be offered every other month for one hour with Dr. Trudy Gilbert-Eliot, PhD, LMFT, LADC.
The structure will include information about vicarious trauma and strategies for preventing or addressing it, as well as the processing of individual examples according to the comfort level of participants. The facilitator will establish a safe environment with measures for confidentiality. Identification of individuals served will be prohibited. Sessions will be held virtually to allow for convenience and participation regardless of geographical location.
