#VegasStronger: From the Darkest Night Comes the Strongest Light

It’s been five years since tragedy struck Las Vegas on October 1, 2017, during the Route 91 Harvest Festival. The Vegas Strong Resiliency Center invites everyone impacted by this dark day to represent the strong, burning light that continues to shine throughout our resilient community.

Please join us for a virtual evening of remembrance, reflection, and healing as we design lanterns to honor the victims, survivors, and responders of 1 October. We will guide you through the process to make and customize a lantern with a free kit that you can pick up from a local partner (we can mail a kit to you if you live outside of Las Vegas or have transportation issues). In addition, we’ll share information about the mental health services and additional support available through the Resiliency Center.

The deadline to register and receive the materials is September 22 for those outside of Las Vegas or September 25 for locals. You can continue to register until September 30 to receive the event information; however, we cannot guarantee the delivery of materials.
