Honoring the 58: Virtual Remembrance Get Together
Join us for a special virtual remembrance get together as we discuss ways to honor the precious 58 lives lost on October 1, 2017. Commemorating this significant day together helps us as a community to reflect on those we lost and remember the incredible strength and kindness that arose in the face of tragedy.
No matter where you live, this virtual gathering offers a space for support, reflection, healing, and unity with others impacted by Route 91 as we continue to move forward together. We are stronger together!
What to expect
- Sharing – This is a safe and welcoming environment for those who want to share memories of the weekend and the acts of kindness they experienced from strangers. Sharing is entirely optional, and you are welcome to simply listen and be present (with your video on or off, whichever you are comfortable with).
- Honoring the 58 – We’ll discuss meaningful ways to honor our 58 and the resilience of our Route Family.
- Connection and support – The gathering is designed to foster connection among those impacted, providing an opportunity to remember together and draw strength from each other.
Who should attend
This event is open to Routers, family members, friends, responders, hospital staff, and anyone else impacted by 1 October. You are welcome to join even if you prefer not to share. Sometimes, simply being present with others who understand can be healing.
How to participate
This is a free virtual get together via Zoom, so you can join from the comfort of your home. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link and details on how to join the meeting. Space is limited to ensure a supportive and safe environment, so please RSVP early if you plan to attend. (Registration is required to receive Zoom link.)
