Trauma Informed Peer Support Informational Webinar
Trauma Informed Peer Support is a program that encourages a connection between two people who have a shared similar experience and the power of that bond helps both people heal. The lived experience and “cultural connection” between two peer survivors is key to its success of receiving mental health
Give An Hour’s SoCal Route 91 Heals program is planning a spring kickoff for the peer support project. In advance of that kickoff, they invite you to this informational webinar that will discuss the project timeline, outcomes, specific duties that you would be committing to, and any questions you have. Whether you come to the webinar to learn more about being a Peer Supporter or if you want to receive support yourself, they hope you will come and learn more. The webinar will happen on two different occasions (you only need to attend once):
