Camp Cope

Adam’s Place provides free grief peer support groups for children and teens (ages 5 to 18) and their caregivers through Camp Cope. These groups at Summerlin Hospital Medical Center offer participants a safe and confidential environment to share their experiences, express their feelings related to grief, and develop healthy coping skills.

Camp Cope is a peer support group model and is not group counseling or therapy. Camp Cope has a structured curriculum with themes and activities specially designed for each age group, led by trained volunteer facilitators. Peer groups are segmented into Littles (children ages 5 to 8), Middles (children ages 9 to 12), Teens, and Adult Parents and Caregivers.
