Mass Violence Preparedness, Response, Recovery & Resilience: Recommendations from the Field

The National Mass Violence Center (NMVC) will present findings from its July 2024 summit that included intensive working sessions of the NMVC’s Partner Leadership Council (PLC), comprised of 20 national partners, to help create a “national landscape” for mass violence preparedness, response, recovery, and resilience. As a result of participating in this National Town Hall, participants will be able to:

  • Describe gaps in programs and services for MVI victims, survivors, first responders, and impacted communities, identified by the Partner Leadership Council, that can be filled by proactive partnerships at the national, federal, tribal, state, and local levels.
  • Identify key takeaways to improve victim/survivor and community access to collaborative, quality behavioral and mental health services, other supports, and programs.
  • Describe the wide scope of resources available from the 20 national organizations represented on the NMVC’s Partner Leadership Council.
  • Identify the latest resources from the National Mass Violence Center.

ASL Interpreters will be available.
