Meditative Art Therapy
Whether you are an experienced artist or someone who has never picked up a paintbrush, meditative art therapy is designed for anyone who wants to harness the healing power of art to transform their lives. In these sessions, you will explore methods to help you tap into your subconscious mind, process emotions, and create positive shifts in your life. This practice encourages emotional release, self-discovery, and the creation of new beliefs that support personal empowerment.
Online sessions are offered with Sherry Lynn Wesolowski of Up & Away Art for trauma survivors throughout Nevada, the Route 91 community, emergency responders in Clark County, and anyone impacted by any mass violence incident nationwide approved for this no-cost integrative service through the Resiliency & Justice Center (previously known as the Vegas Strong Resiliency Center).
Sherry Lynn provides art mentoring and coping skill guidance to individuals with trauma, grief, mental illness, and disabilities. Through Up & Away Art, she invites individuals to share their gifts and life stories while establishing new friendships and overcoming loneliness. Some of her participants’ artwork has been published in You & Art: International Contemporary Artbook and displayed in exhibits in India, Poland, Hungary, and elsewhere.
